Dining Design From Day To Night
THE CHALLENGE:
The Hyatt Regency in Wchita, Kansas needed to consolidate two restaurants and a bar into one full-service venue and create a compelling dining experience that is appealing to both hotel guests and local residents.
THE RESOLUTION:
Through the use of custom lighting, materials and screening devices, we created transformative space that feels inviting at breakfast, upbeat at lunch and vibrant for dinner. The new bar is open to the restaurant as well as the lobby, and is energizing to both spaces. Sliding screens and translucent drapery allow the space to be divided during off-peak hours or for added privacy at special events. Accentuated by a new signature chef's table that transforms from a buffet at lunch to an intimate evening dining experience, the atmosphere is now cohesive with a brand new menu, highlighting the local flavor and personality of Wichita. The grand opening results were stunning. The Hyatt Wichita is now one of the premier hospitality destinations for both travelers and residents alike.
